LHA Marks 50th AGM with Reflections and New Appointments
12 Sep 2025

On Wednesday, 10 September 2025, Linthouse Housing Association (LHA) held its landmark 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing members together to review the 2024/25 statutory accounts, elect new Management Committee members, and reflect on a year of progress.
The meeting was opened by Committee Chair Paul Phin, who highlighted LHA’s achievements over the past 50 years in building a thriving community for tenants and residents alike. Paul also praised ongoing projects, paying particular tribute to the Property Services Team and the Housing and Community Empowerment Team for their efforts in tackling the housing challenges facing the local area.
Tommy Bates of AAB Ltd presented the Annual Statutory Accounts for 2024/25, outlining LHA’s financial position and performance over the past year.
Members then elected three new full members to the Management Committee: Frank Murphy, Ayla Marie O’Ryan, and Kelly Brown. The meeting also marked the departure of Mary Ray, who stepped down after more than eight years of service. In her farewell, Mary expressed her gratitude, reflected on the progress achieved during her tenure, and encouraged others to step forward and contribute.
The evening concluded with a raffle, where the top prize—a Marks & Spencer Classic Collection Hamper—was won by Lauren Duffy.
