Your Community, Your Say, Women's Priority Conference on Saturday 29th August 2026
The Scottish Women's Convention is holding a conference on Saturday 29th August in the Pearce Institute bringing women together to talk about the vital role that community spaces have in helping build stronger, more connected communities.
Community spaces such as libraries, town halls, sports and leisure facilities play a vital role in building social connection, reducing inequality and tackling discrimination yet across Scotland, these spaces are disappearing.
This conference brings women together to share their experiences and ideas and to call for greater investment in community spaces that help build stronger, more connected communities.
There will be a panel of speakers and Q&A session, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask any relevant questions. Then, following a free lunch, attendees will be asked to take part in roundtables discussions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
