Take a Break Grants
Take a Break is Scotland's short breaks fund for for carers of disabled and seriously ill children, young people and their families. Take a Break grants can be used for a break away, towards leisure activities or outings, sports equipment and much, much more.
To be eligible for a Take a Break grant, you have to have lived in Scotland for 6 months, are a UK resident and care for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person, aged 0 to 17, who lives at home. Grants are flexible and can be used for things like day trips, sports equipment, garden improvements, clubs and leisure activities.
