Carers' Week 2026 - 8th-14th June
Carers' Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities. This year's theme is Building Carer Friendly Communities.
Many people see themselves as simply being a devoted parent, spouse, sibling or friend but even if you don't think of yourself as a carer, you might be one. Caring for someone can be rewarding but it can also be demanding and recognising your caring role is the first step to accessing the information, support and rights you're entitled to.
