Marc-Andre Schmitz

Marc-Andre joined our Management Committee in September 2015 having moved into the Linthouse area the previous year and also serves on the Audit and Assurance Sub-Committee.

Born and raised in Germany, Marc has also lived and worked in the United States and Republic of Ireland before settling for good in Scotland.

Before qualifying as a Mental Health Nurse, he earned his living as a chef. Mental Health is an area of social wellbeing that he has a great interest in and passion for, which led to him volunteering for LHA Committee as he has a keen awareness of the impact that housing has on mental health and wellbeing.
