Major Works
These involve the renewal of components of the common property which have reached , or are approaching, the end of their useful lives. When a major repairs project has been approved by the association’s management committee, any owners affected by the project will be advised of it and their share of the estimated costs.
Since the cost involved may be quite high, there will also be consultation on the need for the project and the majority decision on proceeding will be adopted.
Once the project has been approved, accounts will be issued in advance of the work starting and these costs will be required to be paid by owner’s before work begins.
