Stair Cleaning
As a condition of your tenancy and in accordance with the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 you must take your turn at sweeping and washing the common close and stairs. A breach of this condition could lead to action being taken against you.
- Tenants of flats on the ground floor will be responsible for cleaning and washing all ground floor passages and windows.
- Tenants of flats on the 1st floor and above will be responsible for cleaning and washing of landing stairs, windows and banisters on their floor and the section of the staircase leading up to their floor.
