This section of the website lists the ways that you can be active in participating in the Linthouse Housing Association's activities and decision making.
BECOMING A MEMBER
Would you like to become a share member? Are you over the age of 16? £1 entitles you to become a life long share member of the Association. You will be invited to our Annual General Meeting. As a share member you can join the management Committee. The Committee meets monthly with sub-groups also meeting monthly.
JOINING THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Places on the Management Committee are open to all residents who are share members. Our committee is made up of 9 residents from the area and our local councilor making a committee of 10. An induction session is given to all new members and training is ongoing. The full committee meets the first Tuesday evening of every month, on the second Tuesday afternoon the Maintenance, Development, Finance/Audit and Property Administration sub groups meet.
FOCUS GROUPS
Our focus group meetings are held periodically throughout the year and members of our Consultation Register are cordially invited. Policy issues are discussed prior to final approval by our Management Committee. These focus groups allow for consultation and participation for those wishing to be involved in Association business.
SUGGESTION BOX
The Association has a suggestion box in reception. We welcome suggestions from all our residents. All suggestions will be taken on board and replied to if you give your name and address on the form. You can pick up a form from the office or you can telephone 0141 445 4418.
NEWSLETTERS
The Association issues quarterly newsletters, these available for download below, any resident who would like an article to be included in a newsletter, that they feel may be of interest to the community, please contact Gillian Thomson on 0141 445 4418.

The Association operates a Consultation Register. This is a register of names of people who are interested in certain subject matters of Association Business. These subject matters include:

THE ENVIRONMENT
INVESTMENT PROGRAMMES
REVIEWING SERVICES

TENANT PARTICIPATION STRATEGY
The Association has developed a consultation strategy, which is reviewed annually and is available for download. If you have any comments or suggestions relating to this strategy, please contact Michelle McColl, at the Association’s offices or on 0141 445 4418.
